Story time with Sydney and Caden

If you listen closely Caden is saying arms, back, toes, hands, and baby girl. While Sydney is interested in the cat and Caterpillar book. It's fun to listen to them say more words everyday. I remember when they were really little and I was always imagining what their little voices would sound like. Now I know and their so beautiful!

Our tradition with Grandma

Today we went downtown with my mom to 'Macy's' for their annual holiday display, 'A Day in the Life of an Elf'. The kids definitely had more fun this year. They were pointing to everything thing and taking it all in.

Our first snow fall..

The other day we finally got some snow and the kids remembered when it snows we have to put boots on if we go outside. Well they thought we were going out because they went to the closet and put them on.

Bubbles???

The other day I was talking to the kids and they started saying, "Bubbles" I thought what? They thought the snow was bubbles. It was so cute! Now they know it's called snow. I also thought it would be fun to see their reaction to snow so we went out and played around for little bit.

Maybe Sunday...we're ready!

They both are very excited about their boots. They love wearing them around the house. I guess their ready for this winter. Unfortunately, we heard there is possibly snow in the forecast on Sunday. Yeah, I'm still recovering from the snow we had in Wisconsin. (108" last year)

**Also, on a side note...Sydney is into dressing herself a little bit. She really wanted to wear her pj's even though she has her regular clothes on underneath.

Pumpkins and Ponies!!

Did I ever mention our daughter LOVES ponies? Well, she went first and then we tried Caden, well that didn't happen! Sydney ended up taking Caden's turn and loved every minute of it!
While Sydney was riding the ponies, Caden enjoyed the pumpkins. He was trying to pick them all up.

These two make me so happy...I can't believe they will be 2 the end of this month!! Their getting too big too fast!

Baby eat!

These two have really been into their baby lately. Baby has to eat, sleep, go for walks and needs a new diaper. It's so cute to see how they interact with the baby and as well as them together.

Something from when I was little....

My dad and I would make towers out of books. (I wish I could insert a picture) The kids really enjoyed it and kept on wanting more until Sydney would knock it all down, but then they laughed and started all over again.

Sunday evening bike ride

Okay, I know they don't look too happy, but seriously they had a lot of fun!!! They kept on saying, "Weee!"

"I went potty!"

Just on a little note.....I thought I would introduce potty training to Sydney. Well yesterday she went 3 times and today I asked her if she needed to go and she said yes and ran to the potty. Well I sat her down and was visiting with her and she said, "I went potty!" I thought no she didn't, but SHE DID!!!

A couple of days ago Sydney learned how to put on socks and she is also attempting pants...which she ends up looking like a mermaid! :)

Well we finally got our fence and we all love it!! Now we just have to figure out where to put the swing set.
