Well it just happened to be my (um) 31st Birthday when Caden gave us a scare. He was trying to get off the chair and fell off the wrong way and landed on his arm. Aaron could just tell my the way he landed something really bad happened and by the way he was crying. He couldn't bend his right arm 90 degress, he would just cry. About 45 min to 1 hr later we were in the Emergency Room due to many people being at the clinic and the hour we were there. We ended up waiting for 3 hours and they determined it was a Non-Displaced Fracture of the Radial Head and we were supposed to meet with a specialist in 2 - 3 days. So in the mean time he was put in to a temporary cast and then a sling.
***He was such a trooper!! He is such a sweet boy with a beautiful heart. When it was bed time all he could say was, "Happy Birthday, Mommy, I love you!" Melt my heart. :)
So Friday we went in for his appointment with the specialist and determined it was "Nurse Maid Elbow", his arm was not broken. Sigh of relief!!! While we were there Aaron got of few x-rays for our records. :)
